March Writing Challenge- Day 18: What Do You Value Most: Free Time, Recognition, Or Money?

It’s most definitely free time that I value because so much can get done.

I don’t care for recognition even though it can be nice every now and then to be recognized for your hard work and talent. It’s not an above all things for me.

Money can be an excellent necessity, but even that don’t top having more time in your life.

I have heard about most wealthy people who seemed to have all the money they stand, but no free time to spend it like they want. Most don’t even have the time to spend with their children and do things that they enjoyed because they value money so much. Though, some are able to “find” some time to spend with family or themselves whenever they could from their busy lives.

I rather take the free time because time isn’t something we can get back. We can’t go backwards in time, only forward. And, I wish that sometimes it would be easier to do everything that needs to be done in a single day.

I have learned to spread things out just so I can have that little time to myself, and it is so worth it. Even if it’s not enough… yet.

What do you value most: free time, recognition, or money?

Thanks for reading.
