Today’s theme prompt is “apologize/sorry” hosted by Helen Vahdati.
I had fell in love with this song when it had came out in 2007. It reminded me of times when someone knew better than to do the things they shouldn’t do to hurt you; yet, they do it anyway. You’ll give them many chances just for them to screwed up again. They would try to apologize, but then, it’s too late.
This song is by Timbaland ft. OneRepublic- “Apologize.”
Lyrics:
Got me ten feet off the ground
And I’m hearing what you say
But I just can’t make a sound
You tell me that you need me
Then you go and cut me down, but wait
You tell me that you’re sorry
Didn’t think I’d turn around, and say
[Chorus]
It’s too late to apologize, it’s too late
I said it’s too late to apologize, it’s too late
It’s too late to apologize, it’s too late
I said it’s too late to apologize, it’s too late
[Verse 2]
I’d take another chance
Take a fall, take a shot for you
And I need you like a heart needs a beat
But that’s nothing new
I loved you with a fire red
Now it’s turning blue, and you say
Sorry like an angel
Heaven let me think was you, but I’m afraid
