Letter To the Broken Hearted

I’m writing you this letter to tell you how I truly feel.

I have only known of you for a few months now,

But I feel like I known you forever.

When I first saw you, I thought ill of you. I was misinformed.

But, when I looked past the handsome face, sculpted body, I saw a true, down to earth person.

You want to be known for your intellect, your integrity, dedication, hard work.

But, why do you surround yourself around females who wants your money, great sex, status, and then recycle you?

Why do you always go for beautiful women that keep breaking your heart?

Nothing wrong with being beautiful, but you only seems to go for the same type- and they break your heart in return.

Can you find all the pieces to your heart to make it whole again?

You said you’re looking for the “one” whom you can give your heart to, love, cherish, build a family, an empire who wants the same.

But, all they want is a good time. Bragging rights to say, “Oh, I had sex with so and so last night. It was out of this world!”

Why won’t you think outside the box?

When are you going to stop opening a beautifully wrapped box from Tiffany’s just to find manure sitting inside?

You are ready to embark on a life with your soul mate, but you won’t find her in a club.

Yes, you work there as a bartender as a side hustle, but really?

You are a hero. You are one of the courageous, caring firefighter I know. But, being a model too, these women want a fantasy.

Why won’t you give the woman who really cares, appreciate your heroic act and be that “one” for you a chance?

The two of you are looking for each other- spent most of your lives on a roller coaster ride that won’t stop going.

But, you two doesn’t even know each other yet. For, the two of you are of a different race, different culture, are you going to let that stop you?

You two went through nearly the same downfalls in life when it came to relationships. Your spirits are on high drive, longing to find the other.

Take a step back and consider. Yes, you are afraid to give love a chance again, cause you are afraid.

Don’t say f**k love, say, yes love. She’s hurting too and she’s afraid too.

Go ahead, one of you take that step and introduce yourself, and perhaps going slow by building a friendship first.

And while you’re at it, always remember, go for a beautiful soul instead of just a beautiful face.
